MAESTRO Reboot (Adult Content)

Warning: linked content definitely Not Safe For Work, and includes graphic homosexual sex.

On this momentous day, with the future of American democracy battered but still intact, I honestly can’t think of a better way to annoy (some) rightwing hypocrites today, than self-publishing a piece of *extremely gaaaayyy* erotic romance.

After six months or so, I finally have my sweet-hot M/M/M erotic romance novella MAESTRO back up online for purchase!

‘Birthday candles on Valentine cupcakes can become a stale joke over the years, but this time Leo’s birthday present from his husband Andrew turns out to be…another guy, dreamy Irish violinist Mel. Their hot, no-strings-attached, three-way hookup suddenly becomes something deeper, worth risking separate careers to heal old wounds.’

Depending on where you are in the world, at $1.99 it’s far cheaper than hipster coffee. People have been asking me to republish it, so I did. This is a slightly expanded version from the one offered by NineStar Press in 2016.

The 17K-word novella is in the process of being published to various vendors, so the Universal Buy Link may not work for everything yet. But at least it’s relaunched.

The cover is my own messy digital art, but it will do. Though the text was lightly re-edited by a friend of mine, all remaining errors are firmly my fault.

How this book happened, in the first place (because this is interesting to some people.)

In 2012 I read a call-for-entry for an erotica anthology organized by fellow members at www.AbsoluteWrite.com. My entry, a 2800-word M/F piece, didn’t make the cut, but after I set it aside for a year I realized it had real potential as a M/M/M menage, instead.

Lissa became Leo, but I didn’t change much of their physicality: slim, blond, elegant, occasionally submissive, often pure steel.

I stole some headlines from the news, and expanded the plot…and got three fun characters I couldn’t stop writing about (even though I had other, earlier deadlines to meet, too.)

MAESTRO was published in 2016 and made a slow but steady bit of money for me until last summer, when it was time to get my publishing rights back on it. I spent a little time over the 2020 Christmas holidays rewriting and adding to it.

I still have the feeling I have more stories to tell about these three people.
