Finished! Inspired by Tarnhelm legends, the myths of Hermes, and the Celtic (not Viking) winged helmet, this wearable art cap softly shimmers with bronze ribbon and metallic bead accents.
I had a few false starts with the beadwork, and I’ll be getting a clearer picture of the front. But in general, I’m really happy with this piece.

It’s excellent hall costume/festival wear. Because the cap is in sage/olive/bronze, it will also go with my Sage/Copper Tailcoat for an even more dramatic effect.

I’m considering making these for sale, using my trove of thrift-store engineer caps to make OOAK variations. But I probably can’t sell them for less than $120 each. Which may completely rule out Etsy.
