A look back at Halloween 2024

Because I absolutely cannot post stuff in order or on time, apparently.

Halloween 2024 seems like a thousand years ago now. But I did some cool stuff, and I want to share it with the largely uncaring universe.

The front yard ofrenda with its table of lanterns, silk flowers, candy, and glowsticks was *the best yet*. I’m going to work hard to top it in 2025.

Some of the dreamy orange and purple ribbon-decked LED lanterns, hanging in my front yard.

The haunting spooky centerpiece, a forest spirit in LED vine garlands, draped white fabric, and a floppy straw hat hanging with bells and floral tassels.

Forest yokai! The haunting spooky centerpiece, a forest spirit with a head made of a metal basket filled with LED vine garlands. The body is draped white poly burnout fabric, LED rainbow cape. Top of metal basket is hidden by a floppy straw hat hanging with bells and floral tassels. The spirit appears to stand/float in a ring of wooden beads accented by yellow silk sunflowers.

The ofrenda table itself!

A low table holds a pink woven Bolivian polyester tablecloth, lanterns, silk floral garlands, and bowls of candy and glowsticks ready to light up when the sun goes down.

I had fun.

We needed it.
